Polyvore

Hey readers! I just want to announce that I finally gave in and made a polyvore account. Since I can't really produce my own outfit posts whenever an idea pops in, I'm just going to publish them on my account for all of you to see! You could view it here. I hope you guys enjoy and like it. Tell me what you think! :)

Sweet Sixteen

Hola readers! It's been quite a long time since my last blogpost. Well anyways, just last Saturday, 8th of December 2012, I turned a year older and a year wiser. I'm finally 16! It's another first here in America. Celebrating here is just completely new to me. I'm not used to spending my birthday with the whole clan. It was very nice though. To see everyone on my special day. Everybody's been asking me 3 weeks before my birthday about how I want to celebrate it since turning 16 is a really big deal here. I didn't have anything in mind because I already had everything so I just told my parents I wanted to shoot in a castle just like a princess. They liked my idea but there were some problems because of work schedules. So instead of celebrating it on the day itself, we celebrated it on the 9th and we just went to Daly City on the 8th to celebrate with my father's side. (It was also my grandmother's birthday!)

So for a princess-like theme, I wore a short dress with a sparkly effect. I didn't go for the long gown stuff anymore because that's going to seem too much as if it's my debut. Haha! Also, we tried the new light my dad bought for himself. It's pretty cool, I may say.

What do you guys think? :)

Thanksgiving 2012

Hey guys! Yet another blogpost again for another first here in America. Thanksgiving! Yes, it's our first time to experience Thanksgiving. Too bad my mom's not with us to celebrate since she has work at Nevada and couldn't really take a day off. There's always next time! My dad, sister, and I spent almost our whole Thanksgiving Break week at my dad's side at Daly City near San Francisco. Just like me, my cousins are such photo addicts too. So last Tuesday, we had an adventure around San Francisco and took pictures. We reached Balboa, San Francisco State University, and other places. Might as well share our pictures during that day with you!

And as for Thanksgiving, we first celebrated with dad's side then my mom's side for dinner. I do not have any pictures during dinner because it was my grandfather who took some. Anyhow, here are some images during that day and some ootd's of my cousins and I!

She Was A Skater Girl

This is a late blogpost but don't you love days where you need to have 2 or more outfits? I do! These pictures and outfits were for last Saturday's occasion. It was my grandfather's birthday celebration at home and all our other relatives were there. I officially fell in love with skater dresses and skater skirts. The dress and black skirt I wore in the following images are such steals! I bought both from Cotton On and the skirt was only worth $5 while the burgundy dress was only $10.

All Treats Day

October 31st. That one day of the year wherein we could dress like anything we want without being judged. This is our first Halloween in America, ever. I could honestly say people here are more fun in terms of Halloween. Everyone had their spirit on and even teenagers really trick or treated! :) But even though everybody had their halloween gear on, rain started to pour. Resulting to shorter time for everyone to trick or treat. Too sad. I was in charge of giving candy away so I didn't have the chance to take pictures outside or of the actual event. Anyhow, here are some snapshots! :)

Did I rock my dad's clothes? I tried, okay. Haha! Them J's though!
Tried to look as fresh as I could. But I didn't stay like this the entire day/night.

Here's what I really wore. It's not really like a character-based costume.
It was just a halloween-slash-all saints day inspired outfit.
Top and heels: Forever 21 High-low skirt: Thrifted

We tried, promise. Haha!

My little sister was a cheer-less leader!

 Tonight's playlist.

So, how did your halloween go? Hope everyone had a safe and spooky one!

Did It For Love

Hey guys! I've been posting too much, I know. I just couldn't help it. My thoughts wouldn't stop yet. Haha! Anyways, the title doesn't have anything to do with my post. It's just the current song that's stuck in my head. It's too cute! :)

Like I mentioned in my other post about autumn, I'm going to publish another one with my flower crown. And here it is! I don't have much time to edit them and stuff so these are un-edited versions. Like always, they were shot by mi papa. I love the view of trees/leaves in different colors. It's just lovely!

too hipster for my life but I find it cute though

Here's a close look of my flower crown from Indiestructible Merch. Gorgeous, isn't?
So, what do you guys think? :)

Mikaela

So I just realized that I haven't introduced myself quite clearly to you guys. Well this post is just to inform you a little of myself. I was born and raised in the Philippines. My family and I just moved here to America this year. :)

Besides being obviously a fashion enthusiast and camera-whore as I am, I'm also a dancer, photographer, and singer. Well basically I'm a performer and camera-lover by heart. I've been dancing since I was 3 years old and I could whole-heartedly say that dancing is my life. My first ever dance competition was in the year 2006 if I'm not mistaken and I was grade 4 back then. Youngest in the group! I've joined LOTS of interschool competitions already not only in dancing, but in academic competitions and photography as well.

Okay enough of the chitchat. Here are some pictures of me doing the arts that I love. Disregard my major nene throwback face thanks Ha ha!

DANCING.

PERFORMING.

PHOTOGRAPHY.

And that's going to be it! Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Until the next! xx
